I plan to run a mile in all 947 Iowa cities while carrying the American Flag to raise money for Mission 22. I'll complete each mile with 22 push-ups. Join me on this journey by visiting the hashtag #RunIowa947

Do you ever wake up and wonder how you can be better? I think about how to be better not just for myself, but for the world. As a long time runner, I found a way to do what I love and raise money for those who need it most. In the past few years, we raised over $10,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project simply by running and carrying my American Flag. While the Wounded Warrior Project is a great charity that has done a lot of great things for our veterans, I wanted to do something even bigger that would focus on an even bigger problem - veteran suicide. My journey across Iowa to raise money for Mission 22 and awareness for veteran suicide will not be an easy one, but with the help of the good people- we can at least say we did our part.
