June 30, 2018 @ 4:00PM — 8:00PM
MSgt Peter John Pavenski was an Air Force Reserve Aerial Gunner with the 301st Rescue Squadron out of Patrick AFB, Florida. He served 10 years on active duty followed by 10 years as a full time Reservist. Pete suffered for many years with combat PTSD. On September 18th, 2017 his struggles with PTSD came to an end when he took his life. On June 30th 2018 @ 4:00 starting at Patrick AFB's Beach House we will be honoring Pete and others who suffer from PTSD with a 3K walk/run. We are raising money for Mission 22 to bring awareness to PTSD and provide resources that are available to offer support. I am his widow and a veteran myself. My goal is to remove the stigma so those hurting can get the necessary help they need for themselves and their families.
